Machine Sessions Machine Sessions are sessions that come packaged with your machine. They might be the same as various Personal Sessions (see below) or they might be completely unique to the machine. They are basically just a core set of sessions that you and anyone else who wants to use your machine will have access to (unlike single user personal sessions that only the purchaser can use). Think of them as "demo" sessions for those people who do not yet have an account here to use the free sessions, the custom sessions, and the purchasable personal sessions.Any SL player may use the machine sessions on any machine unless the owner has set it to private. They do not even need to have a web site account here to use them. There is little or no customization available for machine sessions. For all intents and purposes, they are really just "sample" sessions for you and your visitors to try out.
Personal Sessions The Base price on all Personal Sessions covers the usage by you, the purchaser. When you buy the session it will be available for use by you on any machine that is set to allow users to load sessions - whether you own the machine or not. Please note: If you buy these sessions for your own machine, they will NOT be available for others to use. They are your personal sessions. If someone else wants to use this session, they will need to purchase a copy too. You can purchase personal sessions on the web site here. To deposit funds, you need to create an account on this webn site, then visit the workshop (see link in the upper left column) and validate your account using the terminal near the entrance area. Once you have gotten that set up, simply pay the terminal at any time to deposit funds. You can also withdraw any remaining funds you might have by using the terminal, too.
If you have more questions about any of this - ask them in the forum post linked at the bottom here. I'll be more than happy to answer and update this file accordingly. |
